El Chicano Mexican Bistro - Papillion

Just moved here from san antonio and was looking for good street tacos. got the asada with a side of cheese and they were absolutely phenomenal! family got enchiladas, a burrito, and a bowl and everyone was pleased. the service was super quick and the food was delicious. can't wait to come back!

Overall good food and a nice relaxing environment at the restaurant itself. I wish they didn't close so early but I guess given their location, that would make sense, at least on the week nights.

We had been meaning to try this place for a long time and finally did! Definitely recommend. We ordered mixed chips and salsa. The salsa had a bit of spice to it which was really nice! I was glad to find tamales on the regular menu and tried the green chicken ones. They were very flavorful but the masa was a bit rubbery in spots. They had a $2 happy hour deal on street tacos so my husband got 3 steak and one baha fish(fish not included in deal, was $3). The tacos were delicious and very filling! Rice and beans a bit bland, we requested a side of salsa and that was great. Overall it was a good experience. Fast and friendly service, very nice atmosphere and pretty tasty food.

As a southern Californian I can happily say these are the best tacos in Omaha. I've been to tons of restaurants and they have the best asada, el pastor, and carnitas by far. Salsa, churros, and margaritas were great too! Price is high but the quality is worth it.

Loved my chicken quesadilla, the fries were delicious. i dipped my guac and the fresh salsas in as well. very enjoyable
