Yolk River - PAONIA

Wow! Try to get yourself over to Yolk on Monday or Tuesday morning. Absolutely delicious bagel and egg sandwich and egg/biscuit sandwich. The expressos are also excellent. A perfect combination in funky downtown Paonia.

I stood in line while the employee engaged in a lengthy conversation with another customer. Despite my presence, he never acknowledged me or indicated that he would be with me shortly. After waiting for a few minutes, I decided to leave. I suggest that employees greet customers with a welcoming attitude and avoid prolonged conversations that neglect the needs of other customers.

Yolk River has closed for the season, but it was fantastic during the warm days. Paonia is surely anticipating its return next season. The nearby coffee shop, Espresso Paonia, operated by a skilled barista, is still open for business.

This restaurant serves the best breakfast in the area. The food is consistently fresh, innovative, and tasty. The atmosphere is fantastic, with modern bike-in patio seating and some of the most welcoming people in the North Fork. Additionally, the coffee in the restaurant is exceptional.
