Status Fine Dine - Panvel

I had been there many times. Last time I visited on 3rd May, 2016. Same experience each time. Good ambience, good food though not outstanding, but extremely lethargic service though the staff is not arrogant anyways.

This was famous ladies dance bar, converted into family restaurant. Still it is preferred by drinkers, not good families. Food is good, but service is slow.

The restaurant has two sections-Bar and family restaurant. Bar is overcrowded whereas the restaurant is not so. Parking space is big. Non veg food is good.

We were a group of 14 people and we were accommodated without reservations. We ordered hot and sour soup, chicken meatball soup, cream of chicken soup, fried and roasted papad, and masala papad for starters. All of them were excellent and served in generous portions. For appetizers, we tried the non-veg kabab platter and special kabab platter, both of which had a variety of chicken kababs that were delicious and melted in the mouth. The spiciness level was slightly high but very flavorful. For the main course, we ordered chicken methi malai and balti chicken along with butter roti and butter kulcha. The only letdown was the absence of dessert options. In general, the prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent.

The restaurant is crowded with drinkers, but there is a separate dining area. The food is delicious and there are plenty of parking spaces available.
