Tower Thai Restaurant - PANANIA

In December we visited another local Panania area restaurant. Tower Thai had a unique decor/atmosphere about it. This is always what we expect from any Asian restaurant. Face it everyone, we usually go there because of the decor - a tiny bit of Asia. Food was as expected from any Thai restaurant. We asked for very mild green curry but instead received a very spicy, hot curry. Kids could NOT eat. Special rices were very average. If you want a local Thai restaurant, go here. If you want an excellent Thai restaurant that you are willing to travel for, go elsewhere. Service was mediocre, nothing special. Not many smiling faces. Price was decent. A family of 5 of us (mum, dad and 3 young kids) ate dinner and had soft drinks for the total price of just over $110. Not something special. I also visited a Lebanese Italian restaurant in Panania just after this restaurant. Both rushed the food out to you. I would certainly recommend this restaurant, but to the locals only.

Reasonably good food for suburbia restaurant. Half way to authentic thai. Had veggie chili basil and Crying tiger salad. Could do with more salad in the salad dish but taste is good. Big crowd when we got there but service is still quick.

Tower Thai is our new family favourite! For eat in or take away, the food is always delicious. The service is warm, welcoming and friendly, great atmosphere.

This little gem is just great for the freshest Thai within a 30min drive of Panania. the food is always well prepared and tasty the small restuarant is always full of locals enjoying their meals. Am ust if you like Thai and are close by.

Tower Thai offers reasonably authentic Thai favourites. Naturally, the green curry is good, but then as this is "the Australian National Dish", it would have to be. The menu is what is to be expected with few if no surprises, and service is friendly. What they serve, however, is really good. Recommended.
