Ihop - Panama City

The service was poor and the portions were small at this restaurant. The most disappointing aspect was the lack of flavor in the food. Despite these issues, the worst part was the attitude of the waitress, which was unacceptable. The whole restaurant had a strange odor, reminiscent of mold. My wife ordered a dish that was decent, but she still didn't enjoy it. We witnessed a large group leaving due to long wait times. Our own wait time was about 1.25 hours from sitting down to receiving our food. It is unfortunate to write this review, especially since my wife works in the medical field and has limited dining options late at night. I usually enjoy IHOP, so this visit was surprising with so many things going wrong. The waitress mentioned that the fryer was broken, so there were no hash browns available, which was disappointing for us at the time.

The food at this restaurant has been consistently well-prepared for many years. Additionally, the manager, Sandy, has no problem stepping in as a server when there are staffing issues.

I don?t know where to begin. The workers were cussing and screaming in the back. Waiter brought our bill out 30 mins after we ordered our food (hadn?t even got our food at this point). Milkshake was completely melted. Finally get our food. My hash browns are burnt to a crisp. The eggs are so over cooked I can?t even cut them. I usually don?t complain, but 40 bucks for dinner and it?s garbage. They wasn?t busy either, like one other couple eating. was several workers in there.Place had trash and dishes left on every table. I don?t mind waiting, I get places get busy and have there own reasons for delays. But I expect the food to be eatable.

We went on saturday morning at 9am and literally 15 min later the wait line got crazy long. Goes to show u.. everyone loves IHOP. The only thing I would see improved would be cleanliness. Our table still had the previous guest's coffee ans opened creamer. Yuck

We decided to leave after being ignored for over 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Additionally, a large table was constantly staring at the kitchen even though they only had drinks in front of them. Unfortunately, this kind of service has become a regular occurrence at this restaurant. If it was only a one-time incident, I wouldn't rate them poorly. On the other hand, IHOP on the beach operates very efficiently.
