Billy's Oyster Bar - Panama City

So good! I was on the hunt for some good blue crabs as I headed back home from Panama City, Billy's Oyster Bar did not disappoint. Firstly, I love the look of the place as well as the customer service and hospitality, that really goes a long way. We were immediately greeted and told about specials and the most popular menu items. The menu is pretty big and everything looked delicious. Of course, I came for the crabs but Billy's definitely seems to be a regular spot to visit for a lot of people when visiting Panama City. It will definitely be on my list now! The crabs came out on a huge tray and were well seasoned and had a side of butter and you may request sauce if you like. I like to make my own ; They were a nice size and fresh, real blue crabs! I enjoyed every finger lickin minute!

Menu is outdated. Prices are different than menu. Food was good. Shrimp pasta was the best. Service fee at the end for card use. Kinda weird. Service was good. Server nice. Outdoor seating only basically nice and relaxing.

When I mention about your oysters being so small, that my entire dozen was about about 4 bites, I expect to get more than 5 bucks off of my bill. Way to take care of your locals. J Michael's was our 1st pick, but they were really busy, so decided to give y'all a try. Left hungry on an almost $100 bill. Won't make that mistake again.

I've only been to PCB 1 other time and we haven't eaten at many places here in town. We got in late and had to do our weekly grocery run so my fear was I wasn't gonna find a decent local place to eat without a multiple hour wait so late in the evening. I had a party of 7 and called 2 paces we had eaten the last time and each were almost 2 hour waits at 8 pm already. I found Billy's on Trip Advisor and it wasn't far from our condo. I called and they had 0 wait. I was worried about that but hungry, so away we went. My parents are with us and they are never satisfied with any meal I've eaten with them, home-cooked, or not, in the last several years. I was shocked that they loved everything they had! We all had a variety of selections but everything was top notch. The only negative thing I have to say is my low country boil was a little salty, but that's it. Absolutely delightful. We will be back !

We got fried picklesNo seasoning. Baked crab oysters..No seasoning. Potato’s as a side..No seasoning. Crab claws tasted like mini fried items that didn’t taste like crab and again no seasoning. Also we’re $30/half a pound. Fried scallops.. no seasoning. Ranch was those little containers already made for like salads. Everything was just blah and plain. Won’t come back. Service: Dine in
