Chewie's Kitchen - Panama City Beach

I’m currently at this restaurant, and I just have to share my experience because it’s been incredible. This is honestly the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever been to. The waiter is friendly and attentive, and the food is outstanding. You really get your money’s worth here. The portion sizes are generous, and overall, the quality of the food is exceptional. My husband and I are in Panama for our honeymoon, and we've tried quite a few restaurants during our stay. Most of them were just okay, but this place has truly stood out. We will definitely come back before our trip ends!

The Chewie Cristo itself was fantastic. The bread was soft and fluffy, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the ham and turkey were served hot and delicious. It was topped with a light dusting of powdered sugar, while the side of raspberry jam added a cool sweetness that complemented the sandwich beautifully. The mixed fruit on the side was fresh and refreshing. To drink, I had a cup of sweet tea, which was just right—not overly sweet at all. I must commend Mr. Sean for his attentive service; he made sure I was well taken care of by checking in on how I was enjoying my meal and offering more jelly and sweet tea when I ran low. This attention to detail made me feel valued as a guest. I also asked him to lower the volume on the music, and he promptly took care of it. Another staff member even changed the channel when I requested it. Their customer service was truly commendable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed and casual. They have a bar area with about ten high chairs and a couple of 40-inch TVs. The remaining seating consists of tables and chairs, along with a few booths, creating a comfortable environment to enjoy a meal. Overall, Chewie's Kitchen is a casual dining spot with a diverse menu of sandwiches, run by owners who genuinely care about their customers. With delicious food, friendly service, fair prices, and generous portions, I can confidently say I will be back for another visit. I left feeling satisfied and excited to return.

Wow!!! This place is amazing, and I truly mean it! The sandwiches we ordered were fantastic. We tried the best rib sandwich and a Cuban sandwich. I've included pictures! If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend it!

Husband and wife team, super friendly with over 25 years experience in the restaurant area. I had made her own Corned beef on the "Chewies New Yorker" (without the Pastrami) with the homemade chips. It was great. If you go to a chain restaurant, come here instead. The whole food is fresh and made in the house with a few good expensive children's dishes! You'll be happy to give him a chance! PS. They don't have a microwave, they don't believe in them!

What a gem this place is! Great home made food, attentive service from the owners it almost feels you went to visit your family. Atmosphere is awesome. Chicken wrap with goat cheese and New Yorker are to die for! $3.50 mimosas!!!! Very reasonably priced. Best breakfast brunch on the beach! Go check this place out( we are from New Orleans, we know good food).
