We however still wanted to get some local food, walked around to find a restaurant and stumbled upon this gem. We understand that it's actually a Peruvian restaurant however we throughly enjoyed our meals; rice with shrimp, pork and chicken noodles with octopus, calamari and shrimp with blended pineapple juice. The meals are a bit pricey but was worth the spend as they were delectable. Not wanting to be out too late at an unfamiliar place we ordered take-out. Definitely recommended.
I ordered a mixed rice plate. They served me two pieces of super dry meat and some fried banana. I was hungry, so I just ate it. Then, the staff started laughing at me behind the counter. Even someone in the kitchen laughed along. They made fun of me and ripped me off at the same time. Worst experience in Panama City so far...
When people ask me what was the best food I had while on vacation in Panama, I will tell them it was this Peruvian restaurant. Definitely a hidden gem.
The food is great here! Good price and good quality. The restaurant is very hot though, you sit in the sun without proper air-conditioning. Good place to have a lunch or dinner, but it is taking some time.
This place was delicious and had friendly service! We ordered the arroz con mariscos as well as the arroz chaufa con mariscos. Both were very good but our favourite was the arroz chaufa con mariscos.
