Mayer's Bakery

It used to be my local bakery and I really enjoyed it before I moved out of the state. I just came back to town, decided to get some goodies - definitely not as good as before. I bought a bigger raspberry danish, it looked different, but I thought... I will try, it was always good. It was $11.00 and no filling, but all overcooked dry bread with some glaze. Earlier when I bought it, it was overflowing with jam, whatever they used. So good. It was also very crowded on Sunday morning. Maybe people start. I'm going back to Torrance Bakery. always consistent.

I don't know why it is. This place is what a bakery should be. Delicious, good variety, fresh and always much to choose. Elephant ears are heavenly!

Extremely disappointed. I ordered from this bakery because they were one of the preferred venders for my wedding reception venue. I ordered a simple white wedding cake (my florist added the flowers) and it had a giant crack dividing the two layers. The dowels that held up the top tier were way too long and the icing was way too thin. The bakery dropped it off with the crack showing and just left it there. My wedding photos had to be photoshopped and our wedding video had a cracked cake in it. Gitti wasn?t super friendly or accommodating either.

Been having delicious treats from this place forever since I was a kid and my sisters best friend worked here when she got older. Cakes, cupcakes and everything is great. Love the decorated cupcakes and cakes are cool my sister would get pictures on it. Can?t wait to visit my parents just to come here! Frosting is bomb and everything has always tasted great.

Bought hot dog buns because they had NO burger buns. They tasted as if they were baked 3 days ago....very disappointed that they do not sell the freshly made bread. I was there at 12pm on Monday, and do not even have enough buns to sell.....will never go back there again.
