Ma - Rita Bar and Restaurant - Palolem

We found this a nice place to spend time at the beach, with comfortable sunbeds, and quite clean towels, unlike some of the others. Free WiFi for customers. Not a place for gourmet food, but nice lassi, salads and Indian snack foods or more substantial dishes available. Staff were friendly. The toilet was a bit hazardous with a step down, and pretty dark when you step in from the very bright sunlight!

I like different types of breakfast and you're spoilt for choice at the Ma Rite. They do English breakfasts, lite breakfasts, Israeli breakfast all sorts of different breakfasts. The place itself is chilled and nice.

Food quality is excellent and pocket friendly... There we had our first experience with KINGS beer..

The tables in front look out over the beach, and the food was awesome. Note however that "beef" burger mean burger with lots of good stuff in it, and a little beef sprinkled in, not a whole beef patty. But it was delicious nonetheless!

A very small shack with a few sunbeds but the place never looks busy.I only came here on my last day,as my normal shack was full and had no sunbeds left.The beer is cold and reasonable in price,I ordered a toasted sandwich which I a passing dog most of,as it was not very nice.For a beer/sunbathe the place is OK just don't eat there
