Kara’s Cupcakes Palo Alto

Great variety of gluten-free options, with creative flavors that aren’t too heavy or overly sweet!

I've enjoyed Kara's cupcakes multiple times over the years for various parties and events, and I've always found them to be fantastic, even grabbing them on my way home from shopping at Town and Country. So, I decided to surprise my boyfriend with a variety pack for Valentine's Day to share. While they looked adorable, the taste was severely lacking! We tried the Red Velvet and S'mores cupcakes, and they were some of the driest, most overcooked cupcakes I've ever tasted (thankfully, we had milk to help wash them down). We still have the chocolate and vanilla left, but for the price, we're really disappointed. I'm not sure if the quality suffered because we ordered via DoorDash instead of going in, but quality is quality, and for what we paid, it simply wasn't worth it.
