California Pizza Kitchen At Stanford Shopping Center

The service here is excellent. They always have a great variety of pizzas to choose from. The location is convenient for a quick stop while you're out shopping.

There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating at this restaurant. The staff was relaxed and there is ample parking in front of the building, making it easy to access from the road. The pizza we ordered was tasty, but the medium size we ordered turned out to be very small. It is recommended to avoid ordering a small size as it is very tiny. Although we had a lot of toppings, we didn't think the pizza was worth the $24 price tag for the size. However, it is still worth a try, especially if you have never been to California Pizza Kitchen before. We were happy we tried it and enjoyed our experience.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was great, but unfortunately, my evening was ruined by a horrible experience. My wife and I, both strict vegetarians who do not eat egg, ordered the California Veggie Pizza. Despite trusting the restaurant (a well-known brand), we were shocked to find chicken pieces inside the pizza. Even the manager was extremely rude, smiling as if nothing had happened. There was no empathy shown whatsoever. I was tempted to take legal action against him, but instead decided to leave the restaurant. It was a disappointing and frustrating experience.

We were shopping and stopped for lunch. It was a Tuesday, when the high wind warning was in effect. We were seated fairly fast. Drinks and bread oil came fast. After we figured out what we wanted, it only took 14 minutes for the food to appear. I had pizza and salad on the lunch special. My wife had chicken sandwich and salad. Both were good. I recommend this location. The best service I've had in a while.

I am not a big pizza fan so ordered from their salad options. Salad was great. Good sized with plenty of toppings and was very filling. Service while seated out on the patio was a little slow but still okay.
