Everyone was polite and went out of their way to make the trip better. Definitely a great summer weekend trip.
I am writing this letter to express my thoughts about Blue Mountain in a positive way. It is amusing to me when I read negative reviews about this mountain. I learned how to ski and snowboard at Blue Mountain, back when it was called Little Gap and didn't allow snowboarding. I have been snowboarding for 34 years, starting skiing at the age of 2 until I was 10. The Poconos offer a ski experience that caters to novice, intermediate, and expert skiers and snowboarders. The saying "if you can ski here, you can ski anywhere in the world" holds true. The conditions on the East Coast, including the Poconos, can be challenging. Blue Mountain, with its 1000 feet of vertical drop, is the tallest mountain in Pennsylvania and among the top resorts on the East Coast. Trails like Sidewinder, Challenge, and Razors Edge will truly test your skills and push you to your limits. Whether it's ice, groomed runs, slush, granular snow, or even powder on occasion, Blue Mountain has it all. The mountain also features a challenging terrain park, beginner-friendly trails, and a lodge with food and beverages. If you come here and criticize the service or any shortcomings you perceive, remember that this is not a luxury resort like Deer Valley or the Ritz Carlton. Instead, focus on enjoying the slopes, appreciating the hardworking employees, and having a great time. Having spent more than a decade riding the best snow in Salt Lake City, I never forget my roots and the place where I honed my skills - Blue Mountain. So, wax your gear, sharpen your edges, and hit the slopes. And don't forget your helmet - ice is hard! A special shoutout to Joe Warner, a longtime Ski Patroller at Little Gap/Blue Mountain, who played a significant role in my love for skiing and snowboarding. Blue Mountain, if you're reading this, reach out to Joe - he's truly one of a kind. - Jimmy
Our event was perfect and everyone who came had a wonderful time. Everyone was great to work with and made planning stress free! Will definitely recommend this venue to others and look forward to more events in the future. The cake and cookies were done beautifully and were delicious. They far exceeded my expectations and everyone raves about them
Can't say enough about this venue. The wedding coordinators and organizers were phenomenal. They paid attention to all of our requests and needs. The food was fantastic and accommodating, our cake designer worked with us in every way to make our cake perfect. Could not have asked for a better group of individuals who were very professional well organized and coordinated our wedding in such a manner that made it perfect in every way. Thank you so much for everything that you've done to make our wedding as perfect as it was. We love the fact that everything was included in our price the food the drinks the cake and the venue. And the views were spectacular made for great photos.
The Blue Mountain Aerial park is so much fun! A group of 4 of us got the 2 hour tickets and we had enough time to complete the ropes course, zip-lining and free fall jump. The instructors were very friendly and checked your gear regularly. There’s also a resturant that offers great views after you finish up at the park (get the soft pretzel app! .
