Rotana - Palma de Mallorca

Very underwhelmed by this place. I greeted the chap in Arabic but he looked straight through me. There were a few people in and we ordered quite quickly and the starters were nice. The chap that brought our main courses was the only person who really gave us time of day. The others were aloof to the point of being rude and we were never offered more drinks or dessert. I had the balloon which is a dish with a bread top. The bread was really only just cooked and I wasn't prepared for how spicy the sauce was. The nice chap brought me some extra Zataar and bread which was a nice touch. All in all a bit meh. But I was having a better time than the lady on the next table whose husband spent a lot of time on his phone LOL

With one vegetarian and one meat lover, Lebanese food is always a good option for us. We’d seen the great reviews but wanted to add our thanks to Rotana for a wonderful dining experience at lunchtime today. Greeted warmly by the owner and well attended to during the meal by an excellent waitress, we chose mutabal aubergine dip with balloon bread to start followed by fattoush salad and falafel for the veggie and lamb chops for the meat lover. We really enjoyed the starter and were then unusually quiet whilst eating our mains. Being vegetarian, I’ve eaten a lot of falafel in my time and these were without doubt some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The meat lover usually opts for lamb so of course has had many meals to compare this to and could not stop raving about how wonderful the lamb chops were. Arrive hungry as the portions are incredibly generous. It’s a lovely area to wander around in after your meal too.

Comida espectacular, era mi segunda vez, y volvió a sorprender, la paletilla de cordero impresionante, las recetas son tradicionales, ancestrales ,donde se puede apreciar la filosofía y el buen hacer de una histórica de un pueblo como el libanes ...

Los platos tenían poca carne y no tenían mucho sabor. Un poco caro para lo que cuesta el plato y lo que te ponen, nos esperábamos más.

Muy buena experiencia seguro que repetimos hay muchos más platos que degustar!!! Trato muy bueno
