The brown rice was a bit hard, but the shrimp was good. The chicken was a bit dry and overcooked, while the barbecue meat was just okay. The beans were delicious and the white rice was as expected. The service was fast and friendly. Overall, the meal was decently healthy and enjoyable.
I ordered the chicken bowl, which was served more like a plate in terms of portion size. The dish was not like traditional teriyaki chicken - it reminded me more of egg foo young or chicken stir fry. The chicken was chopped and mixed with celery, broccoli, carrots, and cabbage, with the vegetables appearing to be frozen and finely chopped. The chicken itself was chewy and dry, and the teriyaki sauce lacked flavor. Having lived in Seattle and the west coast for many years, I have had better teriyaki chicken elsewhere, where it is typically slices of moist chicken breast served over rice with flavorful sauce. Overall, if I were craving chicken teriyaki in this area, I would likely opt for Panda Express or a Japanese restaurant instead of returning to this place.
I hadn't tried the chicken bowl at this restaurant in a few years, but it was still good quality. I will definitely be back soon.
Very, very ordinary fare. Not very tasty. In a styrofoam takeaway box. Just some chicken on bed of rice with minimal vegetables and some sauce. I really don’t understand the high ratings of this mediocre restaurant.
This place is good and people work hard. I found out that this place thru do eats and when I came into the food smells so good I had to try. I have teriyaki chicken and rice with sweet. I can say that eating was delicious and the portions are very generous 1 plate can 2 people and in addition, its very good for a meal. will be back to try more items
