The menu shows the price per 1 sushi... which is not a problem if the sushi is good.Good sushi has a balance of the flavor of fish and the fresh flavor of the ocean. Bad cuts of sushi or olderyou can tell because it is unbalanced. The fish here was just not to par. It was just okay. The tempura was not made well. Good tempura is not oily and the size and color should remain firm and crunchy. This needs improvement.Overall, the sushi was okay, but did not match the premium price tag. I have found better sushi at cheaper places.
Save your money and time, and eat elsewhere. This place was unacceptable. The restaurant wreaked of fishy odor, and the air temp was really warm, probably in the mid-70s. We arrived for dinner around 7pm, and while it wasn't crowded, the service was really slow. They had only one server. The miso soup was waaaay too salty. The sushi, sashimi, and rolls were underwhelming and overpriced. The fish in the sushi, and on the rainbow roll appeared like scraps, and were so shoddily assembled. The avocado on the rainbow roll was brown. The sashimi was thinly cut, sliced along the wrong grain, and falling apart. I don't know how all the other reviews are raving about this place, but it's a literal dump with unacceptably subpar food and service.
Get up get in get out get it get get get it. The secretary of the interior sat in the booth behind us and would not stop talking about how water is the new black. Meaning I presume that water has become a commodity worth hyping beyond its weight. And at 7lbs. per gallon perhaps we should refer to water like we refer to gasoline. What super power has the most water? How much like by volume of raw tuna is water? And how does that water taste so good.
Today's lunch was excellent! Your service and presentations of our delicious Bento box lunches of curried beef and fried chicken were awesome! See you soon!Food: 5/5
Unassuming little sushi spot. The service made me feel like a king. The server was a capital P.R.O. his attitude and demeanor and attention is as good as the finest dining restaurants. Would love to come back here next time I'm in Palm Springs.Food: 5/5
