Over The Rainbow Desserts

I have been a loyal customer of Roman's for more than 8 years. He made my first baby shower cake and has been the go-to for all of my birthday cakes. Roman even went above and beyond by creating sugar-free desserts for my diabetic relatives. The experience I have had with them has been absolutely amazing. At OTR, I was always treated as a valued customer. Roman and his staff always remembered my name. 5 stars just doesn't do them justice - I would give them a perfect 10/10!

We absolutely adore the amazing cakes and cupcakes at this establishment, it truly is the best. Not only do they have a delicious selection readily available, but their custom order cakes are truly showstoppers at any party. Our favorites are definitely the meyer lemon sticks and key lime pie. They even went above and beyond to create a stunning cake for a USC-Covid department event, complete with cardinal and gold decorations. This is our go-to spot in the desert for special celebrations, or simply a delightful dessert with loved ones.

We have some gluten-free cupcakes (strawberry champagne) for my birthday that were amazing. These cupcakes were better than any non- gluten-free cupcake I've ever had. Thanks to The Rainbow for shaping to make gluten-free desserts so delicious!

I can't express how incredible Roman and his team created a birthday cake for me. Ordering was easy through email communication, and when I picked up the cake, it exceeded all my expectations. The attention to detail and craftsmanship was superb, from the airbrushing to the realistic sugar decorations and ombré icing. The pictures truly speak for themselves. I will definitely be ordering from Roman's team again when I'm in the Coachella Valley.

We ordered a semi-naked buttercream key lime coconut wedding cake with succulents for pickup for our recent wedding in Joshua Tree. The cake was delicious and looked perfect, and there was plenty left. Communication with the staff is definitely tricky. Every other phone call even during their posted hours wouldn't go through. Understandably they're very busy, so don't expect them to follow up and get ready to be persistent. I would say the cake is worth the effort and I'll be sure to check out their cupcakes next time we're in Palm Springs!
