Michigan people will delight in the various well known Michigan dishes offered at Detroit Coney. On this visit on Friday, I was thrilled with their Walleye Platter. Their Walleye is my favorite. My husband was happy with the Friday Perch Special. A casual eatery featuring many Michigan food favorites.

Love this place. I'm from Detroit and it's awesome to have a taste of home in Florida!

I can't say anything about the food or the service as I did not experience either of them. After being seating I noticed the layer of dust and sticky spots all over the napkin dispenser. While wiping down the dispenser I noticed the hair crusted to the mustard bottle. It was at that point I decided to leave.

So worth the long drive for us, nothing like the best comfort food from our childhood!
