Cappuccino and Carmel Machiato, oh yeah. The ambiance was great, and the fire pit just outside the door was so relaxing while sipping on the hot and tasty drinks.
Worst service I have ever had at a StarbucksThey do not look you in the eye and barely speak to you . Absolutely not what Starbucks usually is and they should be worked with as this was absolutely terrible
They have the best coffee in here and they are the nicest! Never ever experienced customer service like this at another Starbucks before ??
Good Starbucks location. Unfortunately they do not use the app. 5 stars once they do.
This was without question the worst experience I 've ever had at a Starbucks truly a horrific level of customer service. Having worked many years in retail stores and restaurants, it is highly unusual for me to complain about service. I have the utmost respect for front line staff who interface with the public all day, and know first hand how stressful those jobs can be. However, employee Lina 's customer service was so off the charts atrocious that this complaint is warranted. I 'd checked into the hotel a few minutes before 5PM last Saturday, and then headed directly over to this Starbucks in the lobby. I waited in line as one customer ahead of me was rung up at the register. Lina helped the customer, handed her a beverage, and the woman left. I did the normal thing and stepped up to the register. She was my last customer, we 're closed now, Lina said, without any concern or acknowledgement that I had just been standing in line. I was friendly, and explained I 'd been patiently waiting in line. Apparently they close at 5:00 PM, though no closed sign was anywhere to be seen and the line was open when I arrived in line before 5. It was 5:01 or perhaps 5:02 by the time I was next to be served. Lina told me she was shutting down her register and they were closed. But your register isn 't shut down yet. I 've been waiting in line and just want an iced coffee. I said We 're closed, was all Lina said in reply. Then she looked down at her closing paper work and ignored me. Really, Lina? I said, reading her name tag. You 're doing this. You 're just tuning out and ignoring a customer? She did not respond or look up. She continued looking at her closing paperwork, acting as if I was not there. By this point it wasn 't about coffee. I knew I could head up to my room or go to the lobby bar for coffee. What was shocking was receiving this surreal level of passive aggressive customer service. You 're just going to ignore a customer who is talking to you? I said. She looked up and again just said, We 're closed. When I did not walk away she looked to a co worker near the coffee machine and laughed. What am I supposed to do? She asked a female co worker. The co worker shrugged. Another co worker was also nearby, both acting as if nothing unusual was happening. I was surprised no supervisor came forward to intervene. Apparently this is just acceptable closing procedure at this location. Lina continued to ignore me. I tried to talk with her but she would not look at me and was 100% unresponsive to anything I said. Lina acted as if I was not there. Lina completely refused to engage in conversation. So I left. Obviously I will never return to this location again, and I 'm sure this will be a story I 'll always share whenever Starbucks or Marriott comes up in conversation.
