Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Restaurant

My parents used to come here often (Every Sunday) and get the blueberry pancakes. I'm in town visiting and we went for those same pancakes.... yikes. Chewy, SALTY ....gross. Such a shame. I LOVE the Cracker Barrel back home :

I was tired and hungry so I called in a curbside order. Got a good southern home cooked meal at a reasonable price and got the meal to go for just $6 more that I heated up and had with some corn on the cob and homemade mushroom gravy the next night.

Ordered by phone. Order ready on time when I arrived.

Soooo disappointed!!! We went for breakfast, something we have enjoyed at CB for years. Both my husband and I had the hashbrown casserole. They had to have changed the recipe because it was awful. The bacon was so greasy it was inedible. My toast and my husbands biscuits were cold. The beef tips were tough and not at all tasty. Since they have raised their prices, one would think their quality would be better( $3.19 per cup of coffee!?)There are much better breakfast places in the area, so we will not be at CB anymore.

Servers take a very long time to take order. Food preparation is delayed. Food come out not the way it’s ordered. This is not due to a large number of people… the last two time we visited the restaurant was not even 25% full. Find somewhere else to dine.
