We arrived early on a Saturday night and were pleased to find it wasn't too crowded. The staff was friendly and seated us at a quieter table, which was ideal for us. Since we're not big fans of whiskey, we opted for a red wine and a cocktail. Both drinks were delicious, especially my Jalisco Peach cocktail. We shared Scotch eggs and salt and pepper calamari as appetizers, both of which were tasty. For our main course, we both had the Scotch fillet steak, which was cooked to perfection. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here and would highly recommend it.
Incredible place. Every time I go I forget how much I love it. The vibe is so relaxed the decor is filled with character. The staff are professional friendly, and the service is very personal and prompt. The live blues music was fitting and not too loud over whelming which you can otherwise find at bars which have live music. It was perfect for the vibe. The food is hands down some of the best bar nibbles on the GC. The calamari is house hand breaded and it was the freshest I’ve ever had, along with the delicious chips. The drinks are so authentic and are different from other bars on the GC. They’re crafted made with so much pride. The ONLY suggestion I would have from my whole experience is for the lemon oil greens to have some garlic or chilli or another accompaniment, but that is my only “negative” thought. Other than that, 5 5 stars everytime. Will be back will be recommending to everyone.
The Scottish Prince was a delightful surprise. Upon entering, you are greeted by a fantastic selection of Whisky from Europe, Australia, and Scotland, along with Rums and Gins. The menu may be short, but it offers something for everyone, including options for vegetarians, vegans, seafood lovers, steak enthusiasts, and those who enjoy spring rolls, all with a unique Scottish twist. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend dining here.
This restaurant is full of charm and boasts one of the best whisky collections on the Gold Coast. The team behind the bar is very knowledgeable about their whiskys. They also offer craft beer, although the brown ale was a bit sour. A helpful tip: the entrance can be found in the side alley. There are also some nice touches, like a bar covered in copper.
Wide selection of whisky here and we really enjoyed it with fresh apple juice. The Scotch egg was also cooked to perfection.
