Tree House 46 - Palm Beach County

I have enjoyed this location for yrs..Since it has been the Tree House 46, the food is the best of any previous resteraunts in this local. The outdoor court yard Tree is so beautiful!!

Terrible experience. Made a reservation, showed up and all the staff was cleaning. No one greeted us or offered us anything. We stood around and was eventually told to wait at the bar until they were done cleaning. We waited a bit and decided that after being ignored, we were not going to spend money at this place.

Food was good not great. Had to sit inside because of rain. The seating inside was awful. Won't be going back

I need to start this by saying I've never been the type of human being that couldn't wait to get home to write a review, most importantly a negative one. You can see I don't have a lot of them and most are positive, however, this comes down to principal. The atmosphere is actually pretty good, tip my hat to the guitar player and especially the female staff, all of you, that attended us during our meal. Additionally, the chef deserves some credit also, the meat was outstanding and my niece and her friend enjoyed their salads. Received the bill for $147 and tipped $25, I've never been unreasonable for good service, always tip well, and in this case, definitely not the staffs fault. That said, see picture below. Came out of men's restroom and a nail that was sticking out, that serviced absolutely no purpose, was sticking out and clipped my first. After pointing it out to the male staff inside and taking them to see it, they said I'm sorry and were going to address it. What doesn't really matter in this whole story, is that I was wearing a Psycho Bunny polo shirt, but who cares?!?! Could have been a $20 shirt from Nordstrom Rack, where I also shop locally, what matters is that (1) they acknowledged and offered me a free cocktail...a cocktail, really?!?!...and (2) I ordered the fish tacos, blackened...most of us think they would come grilled, or at least they would ask you how you wanted them, but they came fried unfortunately. Man just take care of the tab, knowing you were in the wrong and admitted it, and this would never have been advertised. The point, ownership and/or management failed me and their staff. Principal.
