Calaveras Cantina - Palm Beach County

Wonderful place, just had Shane as our server and she was excellent. Everything is top-notch, la Calavera is one of the best cocktails around and the Cobia/Grouper are to die for!

This review hopefully is received as constructive... not complaining, but I will most likely not return to this restaurant.they have a nice selection of tequila and mezcal which are the only liquors I drink... for almost 10 years now.We have now tried this restaurant several times and each time, DJ is WAY TOO LOUD in the dining area where we come to have drinks and appetizers while SOCALIZING. Couldn't hear myself, let alone the others I was with for 2 consecutive visits. Maybe I should go earlier before the DJ comes on.Food was just OK... not good, not bad. Serviceable. The guacamole was good.The waiter tried the best he could to help us, but he could not hear what we were saying. Pretty difficult to serve your customers when you cannot hear them.The location is good and like the open concept.If you like loud music and only to dance, Fri and Sat night will work for you.

Our serve Natalee was exceptional. She kept our drinks full and the food coming. This restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is incredible. I highly recommend Calaveras Cantina.

The taco lunch special was our first visit. The delicious house salad blew me away—who gives you hearts of palm and blood oranges?! The chicken fajitas were plentiful, but there could have been more avocado, tomatoes and cheese. May I suggest including sour cream too, because it would be saucier even more flavorful.
