Second time back. First time in pants and the Service was attentive food was very good but not amazing. Made a 8:30 reservation for dinner outside. It was 90 degrees. I had on RL purple label linen short. Linen shirt and Stubbs shoes. We were greeted with we cant seat you . No conversation. Rude and dismissive. It says no shots on website but when you call on the phone they should remind guest that there is a dress code. No customers outside. The ladies thatrefused us were dressed in short beach dressed from H&M. I read a LOT of bad reviews. Its a short season. We will not be back. Its a beautiful designed space. But the people who live in PB enjoy better service and not being treatedbadly and dismissed. Brad and Buccan or Vincent at Cafe Boulud will be happy to seat you with open arms..also Google guests before giving them a reservation so they can keep out POOR people. Staff Le Bilboquet claim they are only allowedto accept diners who are rich, and must clear reservations with their manager before confirming
Excellent place ! We sat at the bar since we did not have reservation ..i ordered Oui Cheri Cooler one of the best cocktails i have ever tried absolutely delicious, fresh, a perfect drink for a hot weather , also we ordered the Moules Marinieres, excellent delicious..food and service are great,.. i must come back !!
Was really looking forward to New Year’s Day dinner at this beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong thing. The bouillabaisse was an utter disappointment. Bland and tasteless. The fish was sparse.One of the pleasures of this dish is the grilled bread that traditionally accompanies it and is used to soak up the lovely sauce. In this case the bread was a very petite sliver cut piece incapable of soaking up anything. Let alone this sauce which was bland and tasted as if the Pernod had been forgotten.This restaurant sets high expectations which made the disappointment that much more.
We came here for Christmas Eve brunch ,couldn’t be happier. Our waitress was so nice and welcoming, warm person. She recommended the food, so we got eggs Benedict, it was delicious. Another dish we got was Cajun Chicken. She said that it’s the signatures dish. I warned her that I’m not a chicken person but she insists that I would like that. It was good but still I don’t like to eat chicken to begin with Lol. We had king salmon for appetizer, it was sublime. The Christmas special dessert was good, light and indulgent. We absolutely love atmosphere outdoor, very relaxing. Perfect brunch for Christmas Eve.
