As it was lunchtime and the locks closed, we decided why not. We moored up on the other side of the bridge. As we walked closer, we thought we had made a mistake, however the owner, chef and waiter came over and welcomed us. He promptly cleaned a table for us and explained that food was available, but there was no menu you get what is on (a three course meal, bread, wine and drink to finish all for €12!! We had a veals head terrine, with salad to start followed by beef, potato wedges and dressing, with a caramel ice cream and scoop of pear sorbet and butter biscuits. Not what we had expected but an awesome experience and great food! By the time we left there were a lot of people eating and all locals which I think is a great advert. The Australians with us are picky eaters and as they did not know what they were tucking into, they ate the lot!!
Nice coffee! Don't listen to the bad languages that most of them never kick in!
I wanted to eat there that day... Except they didn't make a restoration for a good time... Too bad!!! But maybe according to the boss they'll be back next year. We'll wait. I still put 5 stars for the sympathy and welcome of the boss!!!
Apex memorable along the Eurovelo 6. certainly very simple but the ludo coffee maker is an offline person. A nice meeting! bakery is 200m from the village if you want to accompany your coffee from a croissant
Located on the Euro Vélo 6 (EV6 is the second time I've been there... and I'm stopping. If what you're looking for is a simple place, a beer in a bottle and a little human heat: it's perfect. A country bistro with a soul as there are almost no more...
