We went to the Ricotta because we were beat from traveling and it was close to our hotel. As it turned out this place is just wonderful. It's a real classy old school restaurant. The waiter was in a tux! It's a hidden gem in an otherwise iffy area. The seafood was extraordinary. We had an order of mussels to start. Then I had the linguini con vongole. My wife had the spada. We shared grilled veggies. Well worth the price. Great value for money. I highly recommend this place. The few bad reviews it received were all in Italian. This was clearly their competitors throwing shade. Don't believe them the place is great. We liked it so much we made reservations for tomorrow. I saw another table eating oysters and lobster. I'm so looking forward to another visit!

Non c'è un menu in inglese, nemmeno una parola in inglese. È difficile per loro gestire i turisti almeno in questa stagione.

Family restaurant that care about customers. Really felt welcome and advised on the dishes. It was delicious and the plates are extra big. You might consider sharing the first course if you take one. Fresh lobsters, fresh sea fruits, so tasty! I really recommand, especially if you are staying at the San Paolo Palace Hotel nearby.

That was the best restaurant we visited in Palermo. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Our family received a very warm welcome. The owner taught my kids how to eat pasta like Italians do. Lovely place! highly recommended!
