I visited this restaurant with friends and family one evening. It was selected by my Italian cousin. This dinner covered a large number of dishes. We got to try a large range of foods and flavours. The food was excellent! The restaurant décor is fairly basis, but it's the quality of the food that attracts you there. The service is very friendly and informal. You could very easily over-eat at this place, and still want to try more. The food is un-pretentious and very good. Excellent place to eat good food in Palazzolo Acreide.
This family-owned restaurant serves traditional dishes you'd be likely to find in people's homes, and it is very affordable. It also makes good pizza, both for lunch and for dinner. I had a number of meals there during a long stay in Palazzolo Acreide. I particularly enjoyed the agnolotti stuffed with mushrooms in butter and sage, and the pasta norma. The menu includes two types of snails, each cooked two different ways. The no-frills dining room offers a view of the open kitchen. The family was very welcoming, and I enjoyed dining there.
