The rooms were cozy, customer service was immaculate, and the amenities were more than phenomenal! The marina at the time was spooky (right up my alley) due to the abandoned houseboats and the restaurant was delicious. I still remember the breeze coming from the ocean at night. Def a core memory. 10/10 would stay again.
I've heard legendary stories of how cool this place was. We go yearly for a family trip, and this place has fallen off. Last year the boat ramp was closed and the pool could have used some upkeep. Ramp open this year. The restaurant is still closed. No pets allowed. Rooms are clean but small. Quality Inn up the road has what this site lacks, and closer to downtown (also pet friendly).
Beautiful location right on the water. Our room was right in front so I could park my truck in front of our room window and the pool was also great. Nice place. The owner sent us to Bradley's for dinner and the food and service there was also great.
Clean, comfortable room, lovely views, convenient location, and friendly and responsive staff. We'll be staying here again on our next trip to Palatka, and look forward to eating at the restaurant, which was undergoing renovations during our stay. Our thanks to Crystal Cove for a pleasant stay!
Immediately after check-in, the receptionist felt that we were a problem. She told me three times that we couldn't have parties in the room, although nothing has said about me that we were there. She told me several times that there should be no loud music. After that, I was told that my daughter and her friends had to have an adult in the room with them at any time, which is not a problem that was the thing when I said if the night shift person discovered them alone in the room, that we were brought out and that was my only warning from her. I was then informed several times that when my daughter and her friends in the lobby were alone loud or unattended that we were thrown out, but there were kids in the lobby playing pool at our arrival and they were there for a while before all adults arrived. My daughter, for whom I have made a sleep, is 17 and a respectable young lady and could trust in it without being in the lobby and knowing how they behave themselves. All night my family and I were uncomfortable, because we felt unwilling at the moment we arrived (if I could have said, forget it and got my money back to stay another place, I would have. My daughter couldn't enjoy herself because she was worried that a stranger would knock at the door in the middle of the night to make sure we don't break rules. This was our first and last time to stay here.
