Panera Bread - Palatine

I encountered an issue with my order last night and reached out to the restaurant, but I was disappointed with how the manager handled my call. However, rather than rushing to leave a one-star review, I decided to visit the restaurant this morning to speak with a manager face-to-face. I was fortunate to meet Rachel, the daytime manager, who truly impressed me with her dedication to resolving the problem from yesterday. Thanks to her exceptional efforts, we left feeling very satisfied, and I am thrilled to give this restaurant a well-deserved 5-star review!

Isabella transformed a negative experience into a positive one. My family and I visited this restaurant yesterday, and after placing our order, we sat at the drive-thru window for what felt like 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us or saying a word. We hadn’t even paid yet. When Isabella finally came to the window, we shared our concerns with her. She was incredibly kind, apologized for the delay, and even gave us some complimentary cookies. We appreciate her effort and will definitely return, as it’s the closest and most convenient Panera drive-thru for us. Thank you, Isabella!

The restaurant is clean, offers delicious food with vegetarian options, and is budget-friendly. When you provide your email, they enroll you in their Rewards program, and this time I was able to choose a complimentary pastry. I selected one filled with apples and cinnamon, and it was absolutely delightful!

My wife requested a different type of bread than what usually comes with the sandwich she ordered. She has successfully done this at several Panera locations, including this one. However, the cashier had trouble processing the request, and it seemed the manager wasn't interested in helping. As a result, my wife couldn't get her sandwich the way she wanted it. Since we didn't have time to go elsewhere, she ended up ordering soup instead.

The food was decent, but the sandwiches were quite sparse in terms of fillings. The restaurant wasn't busy during my visit, yet I had to order at a kiosk. Unfortunately, none of the tables were clean. On a positive note, the soup was delicious, and there were plenty of great drink options available.
