Lamplighter Inn Tavern Grille

This restaurant is an excellent spot for happy hour gatherings, and they also have a fantastic second-level party room with a full patio. We've hosted anniversary parties, birthday celebrations, and even a baby shower there! The staff is incredibly accommodating, making sure our events are top-notch. The owners and management are community-focused and have generously donated the private room for charity events, helping with planning and promotion as well. The free live music and face painting on Family Fridays (which are dog-friendly) are sure to bring me and my kids back time and again!

It all begins with the ownership, which is what defines Lamps and has established it as a top destination for great food, laughter, and fantastic live music. The menu is excellent, and the venue's layout is unbeatable, featuring a lively atmosphere upstairs and a cozy neighborhood vibe below. Having grown up in the area, I've been visiting Lamps for as long as I can remember, and it remains one of my favorite places in town. The staff treats you like family, the food is fantastic, and there's a wonderful selection of music and events. From hometown acoustic musicians to amazing DJs spinning your favorite dance tracks, and even fun karaoke nights, there's always something happening. I wholeheartedly recommend Lamplighters!

Lamps is key establishment in the downtown Palatine area! I have been a customer for many many years and have always been greeted by friendly staff and have always had excellent service so much so that I have trusted them to host some important parties celebrating birthdays, engagements and baby showers in the upstairs party room. Their pizza is awesome and I love that I am able to stop there while walking my dog and enjoy the patio and they will bring out water for him! So sweet!! I have to say the only problems I have ever had with Lamps or any of the bars in this area is at the times the college kids flood back home and treat our cute city like it's one giant college frat party.

Me and my mom had lunch here a couple of times and the food is amazing and I really like the pizza and our waitress Lisa was the best and she is so nice and so sweet and really took good care of me and my mom
