I’ve been to Agio many times, at least 10 to 15. I only live about a mile away. Food is always excellent. My last visit was a little frustrating because there were multiple large groups at the restaurant and the staff was not able to handle the demand for servicing all the patrons. The waiter was not our regular waiter and the drinks and appetizer/entrees were quite delayed. Also, everyone was jammed into one room and an additional room was not being used. It would have made it much better if the large groups were separated from the 2/4 person diners in the unused room. I may avoid making dinner reservations on Saturday nights and plan on going in the evening during the week instead. Like I said, the food is excellent and the service is usually excellent too. But until the staffing issue and party issue is addressed I would reconsider making reservations on at least Saturday nights.
Seated outside which looked enjoyable and had been there previously. Unfortunately there were ants on our table cloth and then also on my person. Looked on the floor and saw a stream of ants. The food was okay but seemed to be a step down from prior meals. The wait staff was polite and friendly but had too many tables to provide reasonable timely service. We all see price increases across restaurants but Agio has taken it to an extreme. A good sign was the owner was delivering food/salads himself so he recognized the issues.
Our waitress Jean was awesome! Sitting outside on patio very pleasant.
Have been many times and always had a great meal there
