Food Fun - Palani

The restaurant is only an average one. We visited the place in October 2016 on our way from Kochi to Kodaikanal seeing the excellent reviews. Sorry to say it is not so excellent, it is just an average place. Food is just ok. The place was full of houseflies and should say the area also had a smell of cow dung. The hotel authorities keep on watering the roofs to give a cool feeling but we didn't find any effect and it was very hot. Just waste of water. They have also tried to keep many antiques to add beauty but that too did not add any beauty to the place. However, the place has ample parking and washroom facilities.

This restaurant is on the way to Kodaikanal from Palani. able to get good food at reasonable price. Both vegetarean and non-veg options are available. Food quality and quantity are good. one thing they can improve to do some thing to reduce the houseflies. Parking place is available for all types of vehicles. I can rate as a good restaurant with potential improvements.

The spacious, clean, and tidy setting is perfect for families and groups, offering good quality food at reasonable prices. A fantastic dining option for all occasions.

This is not just a restaurant, but a bakery outlet that offers a wide variety of bakery items. They have freshly baked mushroom puffs, chicken puffs, and more. Tea and coffee are also available. It's a great place for families to stop at on their way back from Kodaikanal.

Food N Fun is located near around 2 kms from palani temple. This is one the road from Kodaikanal to palani. There is ample parking space available here. This is a theme hotel and as the name signifies there is scope of having food and fun.. There is a kids play area available, lots of pet birds and animals available and there are lot of antique items kept inside the hotel to give a pleasant feel. Food is good and the pricing is very reasonable. Recommend this for families..
