Simple Simon's Pizza - Palacios

This restaurant is amazing! We ordered the calzone with a large pizza combo and it was the best calzone I've ever had, thanks to the delicious crust. The crust reminded me of pretzel bread, which my oldest son and I love. Our whole family enjoyed the meal and we will definitely be returning to Palacios to have it again.

This is the best pizza in town. Whenever we are in Palacios, this is our favorite spot to eat.

While traveling and in search of something different from a chain restaurant, we decided to try Simple Simon's. Initially concerned that the small town of Palacios might have a gas station pizza counter, we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing the pizza was. We only pass through Palacios once or twice a year, but now Simple Simon's will definitely be our go-to food stop when we do.

This is the worst pizza I have ever had. We decided to give this place another chance after our first bad experience when we ordered sausage on our pizza and received breakfast sausage instead. This time, the pizza had cheddar cheese on it, the crust was undercooked and doughy. I have had frozen pizza from Stouffer's that was better than this. New York and New Jersey are known for their great pizza, so this place should learn how to make pizza properly before calling themselves a pizzeria.

Have wanted to try pizza here for a while! So glad we finally did. Cheese tastes real so melty, pepperoni was yummy, as was the ground beef sauce. The cinnamon stix were delicious, too. The 2 employees on Friday night were attentive nice! Will definitely be back.
