Vegan options are clearly marked on all menues. The breakfast buffet is absolutely AMAZING. Herbs and mushrooms are grown at the resort. Only downside is that it's quite expensive, but considered the focus on sustainability this is understandable.
We were so happy to find this place because we didn’t feel like driving for half an hour to find Vegan choices for dinner . This place was close to our hotel. Perfect. But We should have known when we arrived. It’s a resort. Which means usually very high price for very little food. And we were right. My husband ordered the vegetable cashew with rice. So small. Tasteless. I had the pad Thai. A little larger portion but I had better from street vendors. Sorry. I did want to love it because they claim all is fresh plant based etc. A mango juice was $10. We won’t be returning. But great music and comfy place. Big couches. Maybe for a drink. Not food. Maybe breakfast is better.
This resort is very very vegan friendly! Their breakfast buffet was the highlight of our 7 day stay there. We were just so amazed to find so large choice of super tasty dishes (clearly marked vegan also) vegan curries (Thai as well as Indian), stir fries, sushi etc., and of course there is salad bar, fresh juices and smoothies, fresh fruit, home baked breads. You can also order your cappuccino which a soy or cashew milk. This place totally deserves 5 stars as there is more choice for vegans than meat eaters.
Don 't let the word bar scare you: the Evason 's bar restaurant is a proper restaurant and in fact a very good one, with the best vegan selection in the Pran Buri area. The extensive menu clearly marks all vegan items with an icon of a pair of leaves, and many of the servers seem to understand what vegan means. Vegan-by-design offerings include: • Grilled polenta with avocado (excellent) • Thai red curry with konjac (quite good) • Mango and avocado salad (quite good) • Zucchini pasta with tomato sauce and chickpeas (good) • Vietnamese fresh spring rolls (good) If you get a table near the entrance, you can see and hear the ocean. Live music on Saturday night. Service is very warm and helpful. Credit cards are accepted (but there 's also an ATM on the resort grounds).
