Lakeside Cafe - Pahrump

We used to love this place. But the food and service has gone down hill the last few times we have gone. Cold food, long waits.

Wow this place needs help! Been there acouple times, sometimes decent, sometimes not. You’d think the place was swamped when in fact there’s only 3 tables . Waitress always acts overworked is slow as snails. I’m in my mid 60s could run circles around her. The food takes forever to come out again only 3 tables) . It’s never been horrible but it’s never been great either. Maybe if they could find decent help it would change .

Depending on the time or day we are here, service is poor to great. On occasion, I only see one server handling the entire restaurant alone. And even when there are other servers, hard to find one to get refills on beverage or something is missing from our order. Prices are great and the food is great too.

This last Friday we went for dinner. We waited for over 15 minutes to be seated, but the girl at the front desk said she couldn't seat us. The restaurant was three quarters empty, there was only 6 tables being served. We asked to be seated to wait, but her answer was still no.So we left and went to Terribles and had a great dinner. Very poor management if you ask me. We won't be going back.

They have short staff right now, so I understand the wait times and the overall mood of the waitresses, but when we got our food, it was cold and the mashed potatoes I he'd were obviously made from a box. It's not terrible and I've been coming here slice I was young, but not where I would go if you are hoping for amazing food.
