Alley House Grille - Pagosa Springs

This was our first meal of the vacation. The food was quite good, but I felt the prices were a bit high for what we received. As for our server, she was fantastic! Unfortunately, I wrote her name down, but my purse ended up eating the note. She struck a perfect balance in attending to us—checking in without being overbearing or interrupting our meal. I was dealing with some sensitivity in my teeth during dinner, and she kindly brought me an iced tea without ice after noticing my expressions. It was a thoughtful gesture that I really appreciated!

Alley House is always a wonderful spot for great food and classy atmosphere. We love their steaks and now the pizza! I was so happy to see gluten free pizza crust. It was delicious as well! Alley House is great for drinks with friends or dinner with a date. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The restaurant has a lovely interior, making it an ideal spot for a date night or a casual glass of wine with family. My favorite dish was the fried cauliflower—the batter was salty and crispy, and the dipping sauces were all fantastic. The pizza was decent; however, we weren't fans of the chunky sauce they use. The steak was a bit dry, but the gravy helped enhance its flavor. The mashed potatoes were excellent, as was the broccolini. I would rate the shrimp scampi a 3.5 out of 5; while the shrimp was slightly overcooked, it was still enjoyable. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, which made for a wonderful dining experience. Overall, I loved the service!

A bit pricy, but I enjoyed the fine cooking. I had a great non alcoholic drink with ginger, and I can recommend it.

Wonderful food, drinks, ambiance and friendly staff. The ciopinno wasn't my favorite, was a bit fishy for my liking. Ceasar was one of the best I've had. Lamb shank was so tender and flavorful, falling effortlessly off the bone, and the goat cheese chipotle polenta was to die for. Chefs kiss Easily one of the best dinner options in Pagosa.
