Golden City Takeaway - Paeroa

The buffet had an excellent variety of options, and the food was delicious. The kids enjoyed the $5 deal, which included chicken nuggets, fish nuggets, spring rolls, and chips. We can't wait to return the next time we're in Paeroa!

The fried rice I had was quite good, with a decent flavor. The restaurant is surprisingly large for a small town like Paeroa. I even returned the next day to get a $10 self-service box. It was around 7:30 PM, so the limited selection made sense, but the food was hot and flavorful, just what I needed after a long day of work.

The sweet and sour pork is absolutely amazing! The fresh chicken chop suey is delicious as well. Overall, a great dining experience!

We tried one of their Family Special Menus. It was great, almost exactly what I order for us usually. We are 5 and Menu 3 for 4-5 people was just too much, which is the best way for it to be.

Really nice chinese, the fish could be a little fresher but the chips are always cooked to perfection. I love the staff they are always so lovely!
