Agriturismo La Scacchiera - PADOVA

I recently returned to this facility almost two years after my first on-site experience. arrived on site at 12.00 (on reservation) to attend a group lunch, we were fortunately able to park despite the park was practically complete (then we discovered that that that day had been planned at the same time a wedding, a birthday and, apparently, also a baptism after the greetings of rite that we organized entertaining us to dialogue cordially with the commensali. in short, the various courses (the menu was naturally fixed and agreed, as usual on such occasions): appetizer made of slice and polenta, first dishes (gnocchi, risi e bisi and pasta with duck ragù and mixed grill with side dishes (coast, zucchini and baked potatoes). bread, water and wine (both red and pink). all well and served with care by the staff boys. clean and in order. wonderful the large outdoor park, adjacent to the farm lands owned by the farm itself. We liked the advice.

Good food at an interesting price, the only mole however not recently is the rather improvised service. we had a unique glass for all lunch (water, red wine, pink wine, prosecco. and we had to chase the waiters to get the cutlery. with some extra organization I would have put 5 stars

Nature and simplicity seasoned by kindness in a comfortable farm to visit padova and surroundings. You sleep well and you eat well in rural context and cottage.

Very nice location in the middle of the green. I had dinner at this place booked by friends where they mainly serve meat dishes, but I'm not much lover. I ate therefore only a dish of tagliatelle with ragù, a contour of vegetables and a dessert. According to the others, the meat was good, especially the duck. The wine of the house, red and pink, was good. The service was too slow even though there were not many customers. Control green pass at the entrance

Unfortunately, vegetarians are not very well accommodated in this Agriturismo. Nothing to eat apart from tagliatelle with tomato sauce and sides.
