Cruiser's - Packwood

This is the only breakfast place we haven't tried yet in Packwood area. Hoping for a quick breakfast before leaving for Olympic Park, we came in around 10am. No wait so we got seated right away. Only 3 tables are occupied, including ours. Food came out fast (about 7mins) We ordered: Coffee Bacon Eggs with extra sausage on the side (Bacon wasn't salty, and perfectly crunchy I love it. Sausages were too salty for me and it has a little spicy kick) Corned beef hash and eggs (too salty corned beef) We thought that the coffee wasn't strong, so we asked the server (Lisa) if they have a stronger coffee. She offered to make a stronger batch for us. It was perfectly strong and smooth Food: 3 Service: 5 (food came out within 6mins) and the server's pleasant and extra mile service is well appreciated Atmosphere:4

Little worried about trying these small businesses in small mountain communities, but the reviews were good so we gave it a try. This place did not disappoint me. The first thing I noticed was the friendly cashier. I asked her about the sandwiches and she suggested the French dip, so I ordered one. Also got a pepperoni and cashews pizza and a garden salad. Not too many pizza places have cashews, so this was a pleasant surprise. The food was very good. The pizza crust tasted fresh and was soft and tender. I like my toppings on top and cheese on the bottom, but this place has cheese on top, but it was still pretty good. The French dip was nothing special but it was good with plenty of meat and au-jus sauce was good. So if you're in Packwood Washington, I recommend Cruiser's Pizza.

After a long hike to Packwood Lake we ordered a pizza and fries to go. It was delicious and very tasty. The pizza was well done and fresh with crispy cheese on top. The fries hit the spot and weren't salty. Overall a nice treat after a hike. We also tried their breakfast and I didn't get any pictures of it. It was pretty good as well, a bit greasy but pretty good.

ABSOLUTELY the worst establishment I have ever set foot in. Would give ZERO STARS if possible- the manager was extremely rude to my family and I. The restaurant itself is very dirty and not an environment to eat in at all. Highly recommend choosing another restaurant or just cooking at home. Food took 30+ minutes to come out and when finally did was cold and ended up throwing away most of our order with no compensation or apology from manager.

We just finished a BBQ Chicken Pizza. It was delicious! We have enjoyed them at different eateries but this pizza was the best we have ever had. Keep up the good work!
