Ocean Fish Sushi Grill - Pacifica

The prices are reasonable and the service was acceptable, but my friend and I ended up with food poisoning from the sushi. Please use fresh fish!

I had a disappointing experience at this Japanese restaurant. While the rolls might be acceptable, I wouldn't recommend trying the sashimi or chirashi—the fish was not fresh at all. Additionally, the kitchen appeared dirty, and the overall experience felt more Chinese than Japanese. The service was awful; the waitress was particularly unhelpful. When I asked if I could substitute a soup for another dish, she cut me off before I could finish my question. In the end, I had to throw away my food.

I’ve visited this restaurant twice, and my second experience wasn't as enjoyable as the first. The servers seemed eager to close up, and the food was below average.

Sushi was excellent, service was fast. Great in-town sushi spot. We have the Sashimi Special and a Hokkaido Winter Roll. So much food we couldn't even finish. The Hokkaido Winterrolle was also fantastic with a great Wasabi-Kick.

Customer service was pleasant for takeaway but I'm sorry for $50 the sushi was sub par. Too much sticky and wet rice weighing down takeaway bag I was wondering what the heck was so heavy. Rice is very important to sushi. I hesitate to write negative reviews for restaurants but I wasted money. I threw most of my order out.
