Terrible customer service. Quality has also been on the decline, with regard to portion sizes. We ordered the #6 Combination Platter, which cost $70. This place is a pick-up only, meaning you leave immediately and drive away with your food. Upon arriving home, the platter had no wasabi. We called immediately and the person answering the phone stated he couldn’t do anything and said he’d have to check with his manager. He took my name and number. I received a call back, and I asked for a partial credit to offset the fact I had just spent $70 tip and there wasn’t any wasabi. He said if I drive back I could get some, or the only other thing he could do is refund me $0.75 for the wasabi. I asked if he thought it was acceptable to send out a platter of that size and cost without wasabi, and he said “Yes.” This is ridiculously unacceptable. Putting out that amount of money to receive an unfinished platter with undersized tuna nigiri and tiny tekka maki and kappa maki, was insulting. I will never risk another order here. If Ocean Sushi undervalues their product and their reputation, they certainly don’t deserve my business.
