Meridian Restaurant Bar - Pacific City

This is a fantastic restaurant with professional, welcoming staff and excellent food. Be sure to try their chowder and scallops, and if you get the chance, don’t miss the beautifully presented oldashi tofu—a stunning vegetarian dish. This was our first visit to Meridian, and we can't wait to return!

We dined at Meridian during our stay in Headlands and enjoyed several meals, all of which were delicious. We particularly loved the mussels, oysters, crab cakes, and cocktails.

I had higher expectations. The atmosphere felt more like a ski lodge or a beachfront restaurant in Southern California. For our anniversary, I was hoping for a more elegant setting. While the food and service were excellent, it wasn't quite what we anticipated.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary there and it was wonderful! Everything from the general ambiance to our server to our drinks and meal were exceptional. The Sitka drink is so unique and delicious I'll order it again. Our appetizers were the right amount and so flavorful the house chowder wasn't heavy like a typical chowder. It was perfect! My husband ordered the ribeye and he said it was cooked exactly as he ordered and expected. My sturgeon was delightful! Very generous portions, well cooked accompaniments, and again just delicious! Our server, Sam, was fantastic! She wasn't overbearing, but attentive, friendly but not fake. We felt the prices well supported everything we experienced!
