Bartholome Klip is where you can really be pampered. We stayed 4 nights at Heron House and it was perfectly designed, clean and comfortable. The service at BK is excellent, from Lesley and Louise, to the employees who have treated our daily affairs. We ordered breakfast on two days, and dinner on all four nights, and we were really well fed with delicious treats every time. If you live in one of the houses, the staff will put the table, bring you the food and then clean up. It was designed to really pamper you. The food was top quality, and we were never disappointed. We had more and more than enough to eat and kept a lot of it for lunch the day after. The game drives were also fun, and Esmeralda was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and overall a great guide. This is a first-class luxury farm accommodation, and they really take care of you there. The view is amazing, and hikes around the area are excellent. You'll never regret staying here.

Beautiful colonial styled escape from the outside world. The rooms well appointed and tasteful and the communal spaces rich and inviting with beautiful fabric choices to set the tone. The nature drives special! Both our guides made it memorable and a great experience. The endangered Geometric tortoises magic. The Quagga sighting special. And saw good sightings of all the other buck on the farm. The gardens have a relaxing easy feel and very representative of the colonial style which suits the manor house. Worth noting the exquisite specimen hedge grown around the pool of the indigenous boxwood. Come for the stay, stay for the food! Beautiful four course dining exceptional fine dining and yet homely and comforting. Expansive breakfast just as memorable and one can feel the appreciation of your presence from the whole team. Lovely experience. Esmerelda who took us out on the game drives was knowledgeable and had such sharp eyes. The food was amazing. Highly recommended. Cannot wait to get back.
