The Hitchin' Post Steakhouse - Ozona

This restaurant offers a great hometown customer service with nationwide dishes. Our family ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, British Burger, Hamburger and the Kids Mac and Cheese. Everything was so good and fresh! The fried steak was so big that he had his own record. Needless to say you will leave the Hitchin Post full and happy.

It was great. Had the small order of the fried mushrooms and they were huge and delicious. The Ranch Dressing was almost at home scraped? Then a steak had salad and it cooked ingeniously. Do not expect to wait hand and foot because this a local restaurant is not a franchise chain where their smiles are fake. This is a true Texas place with Texas setting, but good food. Nicely decorated and good choice of alcohol. Bring the family back next time.

Recommended by our hotel for a little late dinner. Not crowded (which was good, but then we stopped again at 9 a.m.). Order chicken fried steak grilled pork buckle and double burgers, all well with our chosen sides. Everyone was happy.

I have the Ribeye Special and it was pretty good, you can say it was fresh steak. And it was really surprising. The grilled potatoes with the onions were good after I had salted them quite hard. The Okra was okay. About all foods was Bland, but I was satisfied
