Stellina - OYSTER BAY

Stellina is a lovely little gem in Oyster Bay. The food was quite good and the service was friendly and attentive. We dined during a weeknight. Weekend reservations must be booked weeks in advance. My husband and I shared the special salad, which was pear Gorgonzola. It was delicious and the perfect size for sharing. I splurged on Dover sole. Worth it. My husband chose the pappardelle ragu. He loved it. Affogato was my chosen finale. It did not disappoint. Highly recommend this new comer.

The food was excellent, truffle burrata was amazing, calamari was very well done. They have a burger on the menu for a reason, try it!! 10 tables, so plan accordingly. Very pleased and will return.

Wonderful food but staff was at our table every 5 minutes trying to take our food while we were in the middle of eating it and pushed us to eat as quickly as possible bc they needed to turn the table. The dining experience was not pleasant but the food was really great. Maybe try them for takeout.

I love eating here, my only complaining is that they push you and make it obvious. we thought this might have been a unique situation, so we tried the restaurant again (five months later) and it was even more brilliant. they told us we need to move on so that they can turn around tables. I understand the necessity not to extend over the meal, but it would be nice to at least step themselves or decide what they want to eat, or to bare minimum allow them to eat just what they ordered and enjoy it! the menu is great (many to choose) and eating is fantastic, but it would just be nice if they let the moment enjoy. but if you want to eat quickly and eat a fast, fast, delicious, this place is for them.
