Lovely staff and welcoming, there is a wooden floor area next to the bar where you can sit with dogs and have hot and cold drinks. They haven't been doing food the last few times I've been there but when I have had food in the past, it has been great.
Sat outside in the pretty gardens 2 days running. Love it here, been many times over the years, always feels special. Very quiet one day as the weather was dull. Completely different the next day when the sun was shining. Nice cool beers. Check the website before you go as it very occasionally closes totally for private functions. Service: 5 Location: 5

Visited recently for a friend’s wedding. We ending up having the whole place booked out for ourselves, which was a fantastic experience. The staff and venue as a whole: incredible. It’s a gorgeous setting, right on the beach. I actually stayed in one of the Caravans on the premises with a couple of friends. The bed was comfortable but narrow a little awkward for someone who might roll/turn during the night, but it was manageable. My biggest drawback was the price of drinks. £7 for a Guinness is nearly double what I’m used to paying. One thing I did notice that was ‘weird’, there was a disability cubicle in the men’s bathroom, but you have to go up 2 3 steps to get into the bathroom. I’m guessing I might just be missing something here!
