Crab Cake Cafe - Oxon Hill

This is a lovely restaurant with friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. The food was freshly prepared and served promptly. I had my first crab cake since arriving in Maryland, and I know it won't be the last! The crab cake was moist and flavorful, and the coleslaw made a perfect accompaniment. The Vegetable Crab Soup was packed with vegetables and just the right amount of Old Bay seasoning.

Jessica was fantastic! She took our order and suggested an amazing meal. Then she paired it with a wonderful sauce that was absolutely delicious. Thank you, Jessica! I can't wait to return to the area.

A restaurant that specializes in crab cakes? I had to check it out! The crab cake sandwich was delicious and packed with crab meat—no fillers at all—so I’m sure the individual crab cakes are just as good. However, I did find the prices to be a bit high for what you get. I understand that crab can be costly, but it felt like it should be a bit more affordable. The ambiance of the place is also more suited for a quick bite rather than a creative dining experience. Overall, the food is quite good, making it a nice option to satisfy a craving, but it's not somewhere I would visit regularly.

Real crab meat. I tried the traditional shrimps and crabs. Nice taste profile. I enjoyed the shrimps and crabcakes. Not a perfect score due to the salt level. It was too salty for my preference. The Coleslaw had to eat to balance the salt taste.

Loved everything I ordered! Great place for crab cakes. I also had a side gumbo and the cornbread was outstanding!
