The Raven Tavern - Oxnard

Our party of four dined on the terrace, as each couple had brought a dog and we wanted to enjoy the sunset over the harbor. We were seated next to a gas fire pit, and the staff had also set up a propane tank heating system for our comfort. We ordered a variety of delicious cocktails and a selection of dishes from the happy hour menu, all of which were well-prepared and tasty. Our waitress, Erandi, was incredibly attentive, patient, and kind, while the hostess, Arianna, was also very helpful. When we left at 7 PM, we noticed the dining room and bar were bustling with a lively crowd, making it clear that Rabe Tavern is a popular spot among locals. I highly recommend this restaurant, both for its inviting interior and outdoor options, as well as its excellent happy hour deals!

We enjoy dining here, particularly for the dishes like Färger and Maische, as well as the cakes. However, it can get quite loud during live music events, given that the restaurant is quite spacious. The service is usually good. If you're sensitive to noise, it's best to visit when there isn't any live music.

Live band was amazing while eating at firepit outside facing boats docked in the water. The vege pie was superb with the garlic mashies atop! Excellent experience.

What a wonderful restaurant. The staff was great, the location was great, the food was delicious! Can't wait to return.

All of our plates were very good. Steak skewers were really flavorful. Short ribs were fork tender. Patio is chilly in the evening. It's too bad all the heaters don't work. Bring a sweatshirt.
