Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana - Oxnard

The pizza here is incredible—definitely a hidden gem in the Oxnard/Ventura area. Lucas was fantastic as well; dining out with small children can be a bit stressful, but he was so friendly, helpful, funny, and patient with them. Thank you, Lucas, for making our experience so enjoyable!

I absolutely love this place! Whenever we visit Ochsen, it’s our go-to spot. They may not have a wide variety of dishes, but everything they offer is delicious and definitely worth trying. Their wood-fired pizza is a must-have, and the drinks are consistently good—never watered down.

If I had to describe the flavor, it reminded me of a guy who's way too obsessed with those backyard pizza tutorial videos on YouTube. He drops a few grand on a high-end oven and spends another hundred bucks on top-quality ingredients, only to end up with a mediocre pizza that doesn't quite hit the mark. I might just be a bit picky since I've had pizza in fantastic places like New Haven, Connecticut, New York, South Philly, and New Jersey. I just moved to this area and was eager to give this place a try. I’d rate it a 3 out of 5, but you know what? I’ll probably return to sample some of the other dishes on their menu.

Your Arugula with Proscuitto Salad is so good. Your pizzas and Marinara meatballs are also amazing!

I enjoy going to Settebello. They have a great bar and happy hour. My only complaint is that they can be short-staffed on occasion. Their happy hour menu is really good, and they have a great selection of tap beer and craft cocktails.
