Rubio's Coastal Grill - Oxnard

The only problem we encountered was that my child's Chiro dessert was tough. This is the first time we have had an issue at this restaurant.

I ordered my food with romaine lettuce, and unfortunately it was not fresh. It appeared to be old lettuce. Additionally, I requested the sauces on the side, but they were all on the plate. The rice was also hard. Honestly, I would not order food from this location again.

I've ordered from this restaurant before without issue. Today's meal wasn't great. The Jalapeno Citrus Hot Sauce was gelatinized and so was the Tomatillo Salsa. Neither tasted that great. The Puerto Nuevo Burrito which is a new featured item, was probably supposed to be good, but the combo didnt'f taste good together (buttered lobster) and Mexican inspired burrito. Additionally, my child's Kid’s Dippers Crispy Chicken Bites Fries meal was soggy and not cooked well.

Chipotle Honey Argentine Shrimp shrimp salty and rubbery. Chopped shrimp salad again shrimp salty and rubbery, funny smell. Churro tasted like it was fried in old oil.

The salads at this restaurant are fantastic, but unfortunately we did not receive the Quesadilla that we ordered. Instead, we were given a burrito that we did not ask for.
